Why attend Collabosphere? iMeet Central customers explain!

Collabosphere makes its triumphant return to Hollywood in only one month—and we have plenty of ideas about why you should join us, from the intensive product training to the networking opportunities, from the awesome keynotes in the morning to the awesome DJ in the evening.

But we also don’t want you to just take our word for it. 91% of past attendees say they plan to attend again, so we asked some Collabosphere veterans about their experiences. Here are their reasons for you to pull up a comfy seat at the Avalon on Sept. 26 and 27.

Intensive training for experienced users

[tweet_dis]“If you’re an engaged iMeet Central user, consider Collabosphere a must-go, at least one time,”[/tweet_dis] says Jason Hagg, creative services manager at Joy Global. “iMeet Central is so customized to your work process, seeing and hearing how others use the tool differently is quite eye opening. It really gets the wheels moving. Getting outside your box and seeing firsthand how [various] users leverage the tool will offer new perspective and generate ideas you’ll be able to bring back to your team.”

Hagg says he’s making it a point to send at least one member of Joy Global’s creative team to Collabosphere each year.

Time-saving training for new users

“We wouldn’t have been able to stand up the tool if we wouldn’t have gone to Collabosphere,” says Shopbop producer Stephanie Williams. Training sessions about campaign management proved invaluable to her team. Checking out Collabosphere was “essential” to getting up and running within their desired timeframe, she says.

“You’ll learn a bunch about the tool that you didn’t know you needed to learn,” adds her colleague, editorial imaging manager Martin Hayes. Their team had yet to engage within iMeet Central, but Collabosphere’s training sessions provided a crystal ball for what to expect. “It was an interesting way to learn… We gained a lot of knowledge outside of direct functional knowledge.” Oh, and… “It was a fun party, too.”

Challenging, inspirational keynotes

We’re thrilled to welcome Jon Favreau and Dr. Cal Newport to the Collabosphere stage this year, carrying on a tradition of dynamic keynote speakers who don’t just serve up the same regurgitated platitudes you so often hear on the conference circuit.

Mike Rydzewski, director of client engagement and operations at Aon Hewitt, cited these non-product talks as a highlight of last year’s Collabosphere in Austin.

“Having some real thought leaders out there and being able to present really the future of how you can share information, going well beyond the tool and talking about how we connect with people in our organization… it really gets you out of the box of your day-to-day thinking, to think about your organization as a whole and how we can become better and more efficient.”

Networking that actually works

As always, attendees will have plenty of opportunities to connect with each other over shared challenges and strategies (or just a mutual love of Prince). But we want to be involved, too, and we’ll have a large contingent of iMeet Central implementation experts, customer service pros, engineering wizards and product gatekeepers ready to discuss a new feature, offer advice customized to your use case, or just share some laughs over cocktails.

“It’s always good to be able to gain access to folks who are really the brains behind the scene at iMeet Central, and to pick their brains and think about what’s coming next, and also to be able to provide input into where they are going in the product roadmap; they’re a very open group and are very interested in the feedback you have as a customer,” says Rydzewski.

“Having the opportunity to meet, interact and learn with the iMeet Central team was most excellent. Top to bottom, it’s a great group of people who love what they do and have such a passion for helping people. It really assured me that we made the right decision in selecting iMeet Central for our collaboration and project management tool,” says Hagg.
